Bipolar Disorder has strong genetic components. In addition, medication compliance with Bipolar Disorder can sometimes be difficult, as those with the disorder enjoy the highs, or manic episodes. One type of Bipolar Disorder is known as rapid cycling. This means that an individual's moods swing high then low very quickly, such as a number times throughout the day. Furthermore, some individuals get very manic to the extent that their symptoms become psychotic and at times aggressive.
